Rites of Passage middle school and high school student submission for the ROP Video Shootout 2006 on August 27, 2006 in Eugene, Oregon. Students were divided up into groups and given 90 minutes to complete a short film on "What does it mean to be Asian American?" They could only edit in camera.
In this short documentary, "The Journey" takes us on a trip around Eugene, OR to find what it means to be Asian American. Directed by Chau N., Boon T., Justin P., & Emily.

The last guy could probally be an Asian civil rights activist spokes person/leader. Very smart man. Finally an Asian that is awake, direct, progresive,and aware of the evil truth that surrounds the Asian reality of all things well said sir! I wonder what he does for living?

LOL people from Samoa/Guam are Pacific Islanders! but it depends on what your looking at as well. The guy at the end of the video had the best answer. The caucasian lady also gave a good answer and it seemed as if you guys took it offensively lol.

ok wait. the guy in the store said "asian americans can be alot of things they can be SAMOAN..." Samoans are polynesians not asians. If you ask a samoan if he/she was asian they would not identify as asian.
