You would really feel better about a virtual receipt if, say you had to sue a contractor, than a printed signed document?
Mail gets lost but so do emails, and hard drive. Only way to completely protect online data is to store it on a redundancy cloud but then its also easier to hack.
This is absurd. I love the US Post Office. What they do is marvelous.
That said, expecting businesses or consumers to go to an outmoded business model just so they can sell stamps reeks of a lack of vision and direction.
Mailboxes get hacked, smashed, and stolen from all the time. Online statements are far, far more secure.
Everything @jesnels said. Also, USPS - you're one of the most gigantic government entities I know...and yet this only has 611 views? And two comments including mine? This is an internet: please feel free to use it.
This is the worst thing I have ever seen. It's easier to steal someone's mail than someone's email. What were they thinking with this? Won't people realize this after seeing it?
Anyone else smell the desperation? LOL

Oh I never use the post office. They are much slower than UPS or Fed ex
and email, steaming, and downloads way faster! I prefer online anytime
