Yeah! I guess you can start an organization to collect a mass amount of money to hire people to help and attempt to dismantle the entire sex trafficking infrastructure with the use of political suasion. OR you can call up LIAM Fkin NEESON!

I wonder why humans ask God to take care of everything when it is in our hands to change things.

The problem in SE Asia is vast, according to some NGO's up to 38% of the sex tourist in Cambodia are from my country (the U.S.) so--- we need to be involved in the solution--period! In addition, providing vocational skills is not the same as a "sweatshop". Sewing, weaving, hairdressing etc are skills that are useful for the girls/women in the areas where they live. Most NGO's will follow up on the girls/women for several years to ensure that they are being treated well.

@Patriot4300212016 The people making this are just former roommates from the states. Individuals, not a government branch. Some of us in the states do care about human rights but it is out of our power to help everyone or even stop what is going on domestically. In turn we can't stop whats now going on in the middle east, despite our disagreements with it. What I'm saying is that you can't criticize individuals for trying even if you feel their nation is not putting on a good face for them.

Its really sad that people are sometimes tricked into thinking that someone will take them or a family member(child)to the states for a better life and end up in the underground sex trade.
Even worse is that not only are young kids are kidnapped and forced into slavery but some impoverished families actually SELL their own children to support the rest of the family.I can't imagine anything more horrible for the human spirit than to feel that your own family subjected you to a life of misery.
"provide job opportunities abroad to those without a voice" ummm sweatshops right? also why dont they begin with ending sex slavery in the states before they go off to 3rd world countries???.Now im not saying i dont support this but its ridiculous that they're trying to rid the world of sex trade when the u.s is the main problem yet they leave the u.s when most sex slaves end up here illegally and LEGALLY...... ... ...

@kalluminati01 We couldn't agree with you more. We actually work with both organizations abroad as well as one right here in our back yard New York City fighting this problem. Unfortunately it's not that easy of a fix. We can start here, but people must realize that it's numerous factors that contribute to this problem; Abject poverty, limited education and inadequate employment opportunities, to name a few. This is how all of us (volunteers) are choosing to invest our skills. Thanks!
