Okay, so I didn't realize that the bottom of the screen would cut out when I would record this. Anyway, the FPS is 35-55, slowing down more when bullets are spawning and near the end. However, it's rather spontaneous when it slows down and speeds up (stupid crap computer... I can't even get the new demo of Touhou 11 to run above 5.1fps no matter what options I set!).
This is Mokou's final spell card before her last spell, card 204, Hourai Doll, from Imperishable Night.
I let the spell time out by doing a pacifist run on it because this card gets more challenging as it goes on. A lot of cards just continue the same pattern constantly, but this one builds upon itself and increases in difficulty.
If anyone wants to try this (it's not as hard as it looks), I have a few things to say:
1. Using the Border Team, if you attack while doing this card, it's usually defeated with about 30-40 seconds left (not sure exactly).
2. Generally, the card is played the same way each time I do it - I notice that when the yellow bullets spawn for the first time, I'm at the same place and when the orange bullets spawn for the first time, I'm at the same place. Trying to not pull crazy moves on this one makes it easier.
3. While it's really easy to graze, because bullets are so dense they can readjust slightly and mess you up. Notice how the curves of the red and blue bullets aren't smooth at the beginning - they're the same way later on, just closer together. You'll end up grazing plenty, so there's no need to overdo it.
4. It's really not too hard. Most of the time it's stupid mistakes or grazing too closely on accident that kill you, not because of misjudgement on where your character should be.
Anyway, I started trying it this way at 13 tries. I think it only took me about 10 tries or so - I got to 7 seconds left the first time, and I beat the card pretty much every time I get to it, so I figured it wasn't too impossible. ;-)
Interesting... I'd like to see it at full speed though... can you send me the replay file? :D

Like I said, the game runs at a horrible speed, so the replay is the same speed as what's here, just not as choppy of a video. :-/ (If you still want the replay, I can get it to you in a few days - I'm going to be out of town for the weekend, just my Mac with me.)

Oh, never mind, then.
...how do you manage to survive all of that at such a painful framerate?! That's an accomplishment in and of itself-- I panic whenever there's a little FPS lag on my computer when I'm playing. XD

Haha, well, lower framerate = less difficult, thats for sure. However, then it speeds up when I'm not expecting it and then I die. It's mostly okay - I generally play Reimu&Yukari or Yukari solo, so it's not like speed makes that much difference, slowest character at all.
Actually, the game itself on easy mode only gives about a 20% slow rate, which isn't bad compared to this. (Can't remember what normal mode gives.)
(At least it's not 5.1fps like Subterranean Animism...)
