@italo36 dam still u are whining the same old story ,Graf had 11 grand slams when the stabbing happened Seles was never smashing graf off the court graf was losing in verytight closely fought battles.At the time off the stabbing graf was catching seles in the rankings and it was only a matter off time before she was no 1 again

I love how buddy just rings out scores like there is nothing else to consider...Seles in late 96 was battling a chronic shoulder injury that severely limited her serving power and we all why she played at 50% in the W 92 final...Graf is an amazing champion but the 22 slams is a number that everyone knows has an asterix beside it!!

NEVER BE THE SAME PLAYER AGAIN... of course!!!

Seles could not beat steffi even with her most powerful SCREAMING in US Open.

She could lose to Hingis (2:6, 0:6) easily when she was still co-ranked No.1. Graf would not lose to Hingis 0:6, 0:6, but Seles could, after more and more women players got used to her terrible screaming.

#1 PLAYER??? without SCREAMING, Seles is nothing. Go to watch 92 Wimbledon! Without 94dB noise against Steffi, what Seles only can do is to win 3 games! You know what? 85dB is the general limit for Human Being's health...... don't mention Human Beings exposed in the 94dB grouting for 2 hours in tennis match!

You can tell, people like Seles, never SCREAMs in her practice, only SCREAMs against opponents in match. What a shame!

nobody is talking about steffis situation while monica was stabbed. I think the pressure by the media and her role by being responsible for the stabbing is not very easy to handle and she did the best she can and thats a point why she is and will be a great personality and a exceptionall tennis and (maybe) the best tennis player of all time.

that what happened is over and let them both be great tennis players in our minds. who cares what the paper said.

Steffi's career was based on beating Navratilova, Seles, Evert, Sabatini, Sanchez and Venus in Wimbledon.

On winning the Golden Grand Slam in 1988. On beating Navratilova at FO 87 and Hingis at FO 99. On not giving up under duress. On overcoming injuries, sickness, crimininals, tax authorities.
