In the midst of the U.S. presidential campaign, the fortunes of Georgia have become unexpectedly prominent. As candidates use the conflict to display their foreign policy credentials, voters may not realise that these appeals to be the next commander-in-chief come at a price. The U.S. is expected to foot the bill for the reconstruction of Georgia.
and yes fairly ignorant guy on the street...it did have a little something to do with Israel. lucky guess.

It's very funny when America worries about taxes paid by Russia.
At the same time look at American Corporations who have offshore headquarters to escape paying taxes and billions of dollars in secret accounts...
Ask any realtor in Dubai about Halliburton moving its headquarters to their city
Because American tax payers are sponsoring corrupt Corporate Socialists

Poor Georgie: You are still under the influence of lackeys promoting socialism for the rich, sorry, CIA ideology...
Cheney/Bush have done a great job brainwashing Americans after their ilk allowed corporate consolidation of all TV channels.
CIA/Pentagon is always good in manipulation of public opinion, especially of people who lack critical thinking like you.

If we don't worry about world stability then you cannot get cheap gasoline, cheap food and clothes! it's part of the price we pay in order to maintain the cheap products! why do we only pay$3.70 a gallon when everrybody else pays at least $8? you can't ignore the world and expect to live in a superpower! maybe you should move into a thir world country and not worry about getting involved.........
