@link212112 That means you haven't installed the driver. Make sure the controller is plugged in and turned on, then click load to install the driver. If your pc is 64 bit you have to disable the driver signature enforcement as show in the video, then load the driver.  After the driver is installed you won't have to disable it anymore.

Its just letting you know there is an update available, you can turn off update notifications in the ds3 tool. I don't know if there is local mode in the newest version and don't care since this version has everything I need so far and the 0.6.003 doesn't.

@golden23a. This works for cod but you have to click custom config for the older cods and set up the buttons individually.

@Xeonphan Did you download the right version of motioninjoy 0.6.001 for your pc? (64 bit or 32) If 64, make sure to disable driver signature enforcement before installing the driver.

@AdmiralSkippy. Make sure the driver is downloaded. You can check by clicking the "About" tab in the ds3 tool. Also make sure before you click xbox 360 it says six axis in the "connected controllers". When you click properties in the ds3 tool, it should show "xbox360 controller" not motioninjoy controller, even though its a ps3 controller. Every button and joystick should work. Also you don't have to hold f8 during boot if your 32 bit or after the driver is installed for 64 bit.

@bmanyoupoop You have to play a game that supports controllers and enable your controller in that games settings.

urgent: for some reason, starting today i cant open my ds3 motion joy, nor can i go into any of their websites. What the hell happened, are other people getting this as well today?

My friend's controller isn't being detected by the computer before the program is installed or by the program itself. Is that normal, since he hasn't followed these steps yet?

Ive been trying to get this to work for a while now but in the things info it says the driver version is 0.0.0000 and i have no idea why... Anyone else having this problem and anyone know a fix?

been have a issue for a couple of day

i have the ds3 tool working online no problems there.

it just the local wont read my ps3 controller.

i am running on

DS3_Tool: 0.6.0005

Driver:  0.6.0005

i have my local files in the right place inside the ds3 folder
