Kings Park Psychiatric Center, "Part One Intro"

The first of 5 videos. I edited this video from 10 years of overnight campout footage from the KPPC Asylum. Some scenes in part one were scrambled to conceal voices, photos, faces, etc. The other 4 videos are much clearer then the first one. Each video goes more in depth into the Asylum tunnels and wards. Starting at building 41, and leading underground to buildings 29, 93, 7, 21, 22. This first 9 minute intro is mostly preperation and the crew getting dropped off At the entry point, keep watching the 5 part series for breathtaking views of Long Island sound, and even some high octane thrills "as if just going weren't enough".

I used to go and walk the grounds weekly. There's always been some kind of eerie draw to these buildings for me. Can't quite put my finger on it. They have a kind of creepy beauty to them.

Brilliant video! Been there twice (in the day time) can't believe they are going to demolish 15 buildings May 2012! At a cost of $15 million! Didn't think the state had that sort of money to waste!
