@WhiteValkery k, investigating is just theory, you are right at theory, indeed gunpowders could ignite cuz potassium nitrate provide oxygen, now do it, and i want to be there when u fire a weapon on space, iam not happy with the theory, i want to see proof, this not cuz iam trolling or something, iam just intrigued with that concept.
@WhiteValkery theres oxygen even underwater, cuz water is H2O (O means oxygen mate)
but thats not the point, now we need to know if the oxygen inside that special bullets will be able to make the explotion, or if is going to escape from any fisure of the weapon, anyways, if its really closed weapon and have no fisures, did the trigger broken when u pushed it?, they could are on like -120 C° i dnt see any sun near.
for you see... modern guns are even able to work underwater. The webpage that i have found which explains the following stated that modern bullets' gunpower and other chemicals with in the shell casing already contain the oxygen required for the combustion, which suggests that it will work in space. And while firing under normal circumstances, the bullet does not draw any oxygen from the atmosphere either.
@WhiteValkery this is just theory mate, we humans didnt even reach the moon in the 70s, that was a conspiracy of the NASA, how can we know to fire a wepon on space?
when i get to space and fire my beretta, i will tell ya if its possible, by the way, my local language is not english, so, expect bad gramar

@angeldust117
-.-
the mech have rocket boosters.. what makes you think that they can't have some electric wires in the gun to keep it hot lol...
plus gunpowder is able to explode in complete vacuum... aka oxygen is part of gunpowder as a compound chemically...
just go research this stuff.. -.-
