The announcer is Adrian Wood who started working with channel 4 in the 90's

I was wondering if you could find an old Kraft golden crown butter ad where a plump bellied dragon called Maurice is invited to use his fire breath to toast the king kings bread. Dick Purdam was the animation company behind it. Someone wrote it while working in Leo Burnett London. It was in Goodge Street London W1. Hugh Laurie does the voice of the king in it.

You're right. They changed it BACK is what they did.

It was the other way around - it started off as Golden Churn with an elaborately moulded plastic lid that must have cost a fortune for manufacture, then changed to Golden Grown and got a standard marge lid.

It's definatly 1991 at the earliest- the Twix advert at the end has a 1991 copyright date, along with the NTL:CH4 tescard at the end, which they didn't start using until 1991 (before that it said IBA:CH4).

Early nineties I think - they changed it to Golden Churn and it didn't work anymore.
