@optio4 Sorry. I, myself, am 6'1" and I don't really care how tall anyone is (my boyfriend is 5'5"). All my life I've been told that short men wont date me because they view tall women as being "all high and mighty" so naturally when I saw your comment I got a little frustrated because I felt like you are generalizing all tall women in the same manner. I no way should men ever feel like they are less of a man. Women who make men feel that way ARE bitches. Thats where the word came from.

Umm I'm 16 and I'm 5'11..i'm a girl and I'm very attracted to tall guys. Probably because of my height. But Its not that easy finding guys who are over 6 ft anymore haha. Guys are typically my height or just under. I want to be able to wear heels and still be shorter than my guy. I hated being tall but now I'm starting to like it (: giants rule! lol

Except, it's only percepted that height grants more security in social status. Shorter man will do some things that a tall one will not have the "guts" for.

thats the the other half of the reason why woman have height requirements, they feel like they cant advance in the social ladder without a man and if it's going to be someone they will be forever it will be a tall guy who can bring her up the top of the ladder, women are mentally ectothermic if u asked me (they can't adapt to hostile environments)

Unfortunately, this is so true. Even shorter woman prefer much taller men. It seems that almost every woman automatically has an "onsight orgasm" on men over 190 cm, no matter if he is dumb like shit or ugly like Quasimodo.

They don't realize that 177 cm man (like I am) can beat the shit out of 195 cm man (I did this once). HEIGHT DOESN'T MATTERS, SHORTER OR AVERAGE MAN CAN AND WILL PROTECT WOMAN IN CASE OF SOME INCIDENT; AND WE "SHORT" ONES CARE MUCH MORE ABOUT GIRLS.

Very few women will date shorter men. Most women prefer men who are much taller.  On many online dating sites, profiles list height preference. Most women list a tall height preference.

For every tall girl who says she doesn't have a problem dating shorter guys, there are 9 other tall girls who are dead set against it. This is the way I see the ratio, 9 to 1 against dating shorter guys and some of it is based on experience. Nice tall girls who don't like short guys will let him down easy, sometimes saying his lack of height isn't his fault but it's her own issue. Nasty tall girls just insult and make it a priority to hurt a short guys feelings for trying to talk to her.
