The beaty of the Caribbean hides a not to pleasent truth. Pollution in the form of discarded garbage is a blithe on these beautiful islands. Even this winter commercials are broadcast on television showing the ideal image of the Caribbean, I love that image but I also was to see a deserve for all time and that means we have to address the issue of pollution and garbage that is found throughout the Caribbean.

I hear you bud,I am canadian and just moved to La Romona D.R. on 11th on Nov. The first week I stayed in a Resort,then moved to the city. I've seen it all. But one thing I will say is they are trying.I see it everyday. Dominican Republic has come along way, and the potential is incredable.Thanx for sharing
