July 1971 - My Mom and Dad took me on a cross country trip with a destination of Disneyland. Here's the film salvaged from the attic on 8mm film. Ride the Matterhorn, Autopia, Jungle Cruise and the skyway like only one could in 1971!

  • My first visit to disneyland came in april 1977, my mom mad at dad packed me and my brother drove to the airport and flew to california, what fun we had, but we kept having to buy E tickets while the other where left un-used. Now we live in Ca 20 miles from the place but the memories still dwell, thanks for posting

  • Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me?

    M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E.

  • not that bad for and old camera

  • Thanks for this!

  • thanks....

  • @croninlaw E tickets. Yes. Those were for the popular attractions such as Space Mt., Pirates, Haunted Mansion. I went there first in 1970 then in 1977 and I remember the driver of the Safari ride shooting at a hippo nearby, do they still do that?

  • I was 12 years old in 1971, living in Huntington Beach. Back then, Disney would shut down for things like Catholic Schools night and North American aviation. The matterhorn was "cool", and I remember when Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion first opened. Does anyone remember E ticket rides? Thanks for the memory, Jpmartdog.

  • my favorite part were the fireworks at the end

  • wow!!!!
