I remember reading something Jim Butcher said about how Harry hasn't escaped Mab's clutches yet... maybe your homunculus idea combined with neophyteshutterbug's idea? Mab wouldn't let go of her new Winter Knight THAT easy, not after waiting so long... and it'd be a bonus for her if she could control Harry more easily. :P
Either way, poor guy's in for some trouble, no matter how he gets back.

my bet is you are looking at a future homunculus. i don't think its going to be a proper resurrection, dresden is just not that lucky.
