  • it seems that some russians still love Stalin

  • -Wise decision on Stalin's part to sign the treaty... the USSR knew that sooner or later, Nazi Germany would attack them later

That is, agree with you. I heard that Hitler's plan was to move through Turkey an Iran (both sympathized to Germany) to India, where they would connect with japanese forces and then attack Russian in Ural's region. It was brilliant plan - UK losts main resource base and Russia would be cracked on 2 parts. That's why Stalin didn't believe to warnings about 22 of june.

  • What a disgusting bit of equivocating nonsense. There is nothing "controversial" about the pact. It was an unqualified evil. It is what made WWII possible. Hitler wouldn't have dared invade w/o it. It was only the embarrassment Stalin suffered @ the hands of the Finns which made Hitler invade Russia so early.

  • To win some space? Such as a sovereign country called Finland!

  • A deal with the Devil. Except in this case, the Devil was on both sides of the table.

  • Molotov's grandson is so full of shit. The reporter is trying to dodge his growing nose.

  • @perkele0079

No Doubt. The Soviets and the Nazis are the biggest liars in history.

  • RT always tries to put a We're not guilty spin on russian history. Yes Soviet russia played for time and space and avoided war by a year by invading other countries. Very convenient for Stalin who wanted to regain those territories lost after the fall of the russian empire. Then they mention czechoslovakia. But one problem England and France didnt invade Czechoslovakia. But Soviet russia invaded the baltics, poland and started a war with finland without provocation.

  • @DNchap1417 "the territories that Poles stole during the 1920 war"

Ever heard of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth? Have you ever heard that Russia annexed 81% of it's territories more than 1 centure before? Did you realize Polish state before II world war was based on borders(at least they tried to) of the Commonwealth? How is it "stealing" to you?

  • Watch "The Soviet Story" for the truth about the cooperation between Nazi Germany and USSR! Don't let history be re-written!

  • Question: Did Hitler and Stalin ever met face to face?
