In Taiwan they know how to save time when they don't have a loading dock. Use two forklifts.

  • A better Solution is a Container lifter like the one in the Video response i just posted. Set the Container on the Ground and load / unload Safely

  • I agree 100%. Unfortunately there is no way the owners of the company will spend a nickel in the interest of safety or efficiency. I've had this discussion before with them. There is lots of land around them to put in a level loading dock but that won't happen either.

  • haha, no way.

  • It's amazing I know but i took the video myself. I watched them load that whole container that way and they never dropped the little fork lift!!!! Just think... steel forks on steel. Something should have slipped but it didn't!!!

  • Combilift is very impressive as are their forklifts but Taiwan guys are resourcefull and entertaining. Full marks to them. I am sure their factory is full of clever solutions to problems. Investing in expensive solutions can easily bankrupt a company if market goes bad like now. Seeing this every day now.

  • I agree totally! They do some crazy things in Taiwan and this one takes the cake! the boss is so cheap he thinks he's saving money by doing it this way and not putting in a ramp. I always thought it would be fun to send this video to a government labor official telling him we found a new way to keep 2 people employed rather than just one. I'd love to be a mouse in the corner of the office when they watched this.

  • lol nice one!

they better build a loading dock and save the money for the second forklift plus operator as a long time investment...

i drive 3,6,12 and 18 ton forklifts at work. only situation i use a bigger one to lift a smaller one is if the smaller forklift got stuck between a ramp and a truck or it is damaged and unable to move from itself, but without an operator on it...

not very smart what they do :)

  • Nice idea, but one has to keep an eye to the edge of that container when reversing...
