YouTube Symphony @ Carnegie Hall - Rachmaninoff Waltz 6 Hands - Derek Wang, Anna Larsen, Charlie Liu

Anna Larsen, Charlie Liu and I perform Rachmaninoff's Waltz for Six Hands at Carnegie Hall for the YouTube Symphony event. We performed this as students of Lang Lang's foundation. We would like to thank Elena Rossman, Gary Graffman, Yuja Wang, Jeremy Denk, and Michael Tilson Thomas for giving us lessons and helping us to put this piece together in the past few days. We would also like to thank Lang Lang, his foundation, and YouTube for giving us this opportunity.

Amazing! what a contribution to humanity:-) Now, why don't we require that every child accomplish something of this caliber in the field of their choice? We require so little of children nowadays.

@LukasSwoboda I swear, Horowitz, who taught Graffman, who taught Lang Lang and Yuja, who taught these kids..all know a way of learning how to read the notes in a certain way that makes you learn/remember them faster than 99% of pianists. Either that or it's just a natural genetic talent :P I believe it's the latter, to be honest.
