  • oh i get it, follow the directions that came with your kit. So thats how you make one.

  • @widgity Nooooooo! analog all the way. If you just route it into a DAW it defeats the purpose. It's just a MIDI controller at that point and you're not creating anything new; just the same old boring digital sounds everyone else uses.

  • I don't see any problem in buying a theremin. It isn't the DIY-route, but a lot of people don't make their own guitars either. As a musician, I bought a theremin, and I'm not ashamed. But I dabble in DIY-noise-stuff, so I was interested in some info on the antennas.

However, my main problem here, as with many "make a theremin"-videos on YouTube, is the lack of volume-antennas. Just controlling the pitch makes no sense.

  • @HereComesThatIndian yeah i see your point

  • @PokeQuiffinger It does say, make a theremin not *HOW TO MAKE ONE* hopefully you read the title next time.

  • @paulhalo98 No, it just silences.

  • ... ehh, i'm 13, i have an excuse for just buying one.

  • Thanks for showing us how to make it...
