It definitely WAS a graphics masterpiece at the time absolutely slaying ATARI and others......coleco blew all other consoles away.

Nah, I remember playing it as a kid. The whole double jump part of it wasn't really self-explanatory, it took a lot of trial and error. I remember not being able to jump over the skull most of the time, because the controls (the joystick) were tricky.

a lot of people say the atari version plays better though.

hence why it sold fairly well even into the 90's.

though i love my colecovision as well.

the atari has a certain charm and can beat some far more superiour machines in game play.

zaxxon, grogs revenge, donkey kong amoungst a few others were untouchable on the colecovision at the time, they never sold many in the uk.

i guess when they were becoming affordable over here, the us was experience the console crash, so we missed out a bit

This game was easy, sure, but if you missed a fence jump you got impaled in a pretty nasty way!
