It doesn't matter if you think this video is just a propaganda from the Chinese government. But a wise man would allow different voices and make his judgement after listening to both sides of a story.

  • Have a look at the CHINESE "legal code" of the same period as that mentioned here, no substantial difference between the two. Chinese people TODAY are STILL enslaved by their communist rulers, who lead lavish lives at the expense of the entire country, yep, TODAY. What life was like in (Old) Tibet in the past differs little from ANY OTHER place at the time. I studied Chinese language, law and history, born in Asia, know the truth is NOT represented here.

  • Ironic that people call stuff defending CHina propaganda when everything they "know" about China and Tibet come from western media BS, and lies that they make up.

  • melvin goldstein is a chinese government propaganda tool maker.

  • there were less than 3 million Tibetans in the 1950s. how do you expect 1.8 million tibetans to turn into a population over 6 million? use some fucking logic.

  • that number is actually questionable. Even western Tibetologists like Melvin Goldstein questions that number.

  • Peaceful liberation??? Is that what the Chinese government tells the Chinese people happened in Tibet?? I don't think 1.2 million murdered Tibetans is peaceful.

  • where is part 2 and 3? :(

  • ty again! XD
