If I'm not mistaken the problem is in the left seat of the second row. If you notice there is a vial of Serpent Venom there. Maybe that's the reason why it does not work. take it from there and try again :)

How in the world do you ever find anything with everybody's backpack so crowded? LOL! I tended to organise my stuff like keys in a bag, reagents in a bag, food in a bag, etc. Also I dumped things I did not need in the hold of the ship and using the stones with mark and recall made it easy to return to it should I need something. I'm saddened by the loss of your carpet though. Maybe it just needs a 3,000 check up.
