The Bombay Mothers and Children Welfare Society is based in Mumbai, and has branches throughout the state of Maharashtra. It has 4 charitable hospitals, 6 day care centers, a cancer patient convalescent ward, and summer camps.
This video highlights our newest addition to the society, the Rural Development Programme in Rajgurunagar, Pune district. Though only initiated in 2004, it has already been successful in providing numerous programmes for 33 villages around our center hospital. The main categories in the video are medical care (at our center hospital, and delivered to each village), child care, training programmes (computers, sewing, arts & crafts, spoken English), education (adult literacy, school programmes), microfinance and self-help groups, and banana planting. The details on each area can be seen in the video, but also feel free to view our website at www.BMCWS.com or contact us if you'd like to learn more.
