Nice head bang lol

I don't know what the winters are like in AL but in Utah we have this thing called snow and it can make climbing outside difficult. My stairwell might not be as hard core as the climbing in Alabama, but it keeps me in climbing shape come January. If you're as hardcore as you claim you should get this.

I understand your confusion ChillinCherokee, the climbing world doesn't make much sense to those outside it. But I think it's awesome

How long it take you to make that then?

It took me about 16 hrs, but if I had the right tools and if I had known what I was doing it would have took less than half that amount of time. I ended up having to add additional support in the middle because it was bending a lot, but now it works perfectly. If you want some specific info about the wall so you can build your own let me know, and I'll get back to you

materials: 3/4 inch ply wood, and 2x4 (all cut to spec), 3 and 4 inch screws, t nuts. First thing is drill the holes for the T-nuts, I'd recommend a hole ever six inches, also make sure you're using a sharp bit and don't push too hard and have a spare board under it to avoid splintering on the back side. Then place the t-nuts in the back with a hammer. Then add horizontal 2x4s with 4 inch screws to the existing overhead side supports (I added 4 and make sure that one is at the very top)

Then Place the finished plywood to the stairs and fasten the plywood with 4 inch screws to the existing side support, two screws on each side for every foot, and use the 3 inch screws to fasten the plywood to the horizontal 2x4s (all the holes need to be pre-drilled) I also added a 2x4 to the bottom for both support and starting holds. for the horizontal finishing move I screwed the plywood into the main structural beam of the house with 4 inch screws. for the side wall i used 2 1/2 inch screws.
