Here is a Sega Genesis "Nomad" Portable Gaming System from 1995. It was designed to play the cartridges from the original Sega Genesis home system. This unit is fully fuctional, all buttons work, and the screen is nice and bright. The outer screen lens has some surface abrasions, but this does not affect game play, and replacement screen lenses can be purchased on ebay. This unit is for sale on ebay (including 1 game cartridge with 6 different games) starting on 12/22/08. Search seller name 'opantxm202'. Thanks for watching.

  • woah i remember that my brother had that but he let me have goes on it and i played sonic I can remember first time I played sonic i died straight away thanks you took me way back

  • does the screw your talking about look like a Y sort of sometimes you can use a flat head screw driver to remove it but ihave the special kind i can help you to find one if you need it. @dashwarts

  • Sorry, I don't have the Nomad anymore. I think you need a special screwdriver, but I could be wrong...

  • How do you get rid of that pesky bottom center screw (or do you know at all)? My Nomad needs a little soldering to get back in working order...

  • I remember getting mine when the system was going for $50 at Toys R Us in 1998.

  • u r about to get roasted !

  • I got rid of this a long time ago. never really missed it. You shook the thing slightly and the game froze up. Putting it down on the table I had to be stealth like a ninja or else my game would get lost. It was too huge. Ate up batteries.

There's a much better system that plays all Game Gear, Genesis, Sega Master, and Sega 32X games all on one system. It's portable, you can take it everywhere, and you can use it for everything else in your life. It's called a Macbook Pro!!

  • Me too, but I had no games for it. I sold it to a guy in Spain for $74.00!
