I think at 4:41 where I'm clutching my hand I think that was when I forgot to tuck my thumb in when i had my hand open to block so I sprained me thumb

@Trunkstuff yeah you won that round, i think that was me first crystal palace national, wasn't that the one where when we first started sparring you came in quick on me straight away and i without thinking backhand striked your face but they didnt take notice and you won afterwards cos you kept getting the points?

the next year yeah, we sparred again, i managed to win me first round and so did u then we ende dup sparring but you won and then carrie don to get gold, kata i don't think i was too far off a bronze just a few points were u in any of the team events?

in this space alone I counted yet some more happy little vegemites sooo happy about GKR, it scares me. And yet, this "karate_lover" still trying to defend the undefendable. GKR kicking ass at the NAS (choke) 200 participants, 190 are GKR! Wow, what a team of champions!

And yesss, I am jealous, bitter and twisted but nobody has anything to say about our karate Org, get it? type GKR in Google will u, but dont be surprised by the yourself will u??

@CourtHart89 Why the sarcasm? I'm not saying that GKR's system isn't flawed... I'm just pointing out that there are some truly dedicated people at GKR, that don't deserve the criticism they receive.

People need to stop generalizing GKR as a half hearted karate club, that only cares about making money. Some of the accusations may be true, but its an insult to all GKR members who put 110% effort into their karate. For example my Sensai. He isn't a black belt, but his been training four times a week minimum for the past 3years ish since his started. Why do I think he does this? Because he wants to better, and to be a better example to those in the dojo.

what is the Black belt doing?? he is sparring a brown belt who is clearly making him look silly?? it seems he is spending more time trying to look cool and masterfull? than actually paying ANY attention to the fact that the brown belt is constantly punching himin the face???

he gets hit wiht 2-3 clean shots, then he trys a silly punch or backfist? but he is far too late??
