  • I can't even begin to describe how happy this clip makes me every time I see it. Seems impossible to miss someone you've never met, but I feel that way about Mae West. What a dame!

  • @EmpressJudge13 I totally agree! Just watched "She Done Him Wrong" & Im No Angel last week with Mae--LOVE her. Her lines are fantastic!!!

  • I wonder if you can buy this on DVD...God I'd love to have partied with Mae West...She'd get you crunk and then sleep in the same bed with you, wake up the next morning not knowing what the hell happened, some how you ended up in bed with Mae West, but you don't care cus it was fun lol =D

  • @MissGarland20 I believe you can find this movie in the Mae West Glamour Collection. I checked myself...believe me, I love both Raft & West! :)

  • Thanks so much for bringing back this pre-codie delight!

  • "Do you believe in love at first sight?"

"I don't know, but it saves an awful lot of time."

    Is that great, or what?

  • Absolutely wonderful....Many thanks!! Best " J "

  • I bet she was a blast to be with!

  • @MissMaybellen Nothing negative so don't worry but I don't agree at ALL. Mae West was brilliant and she wrote most of all her screen plays and the world of cinema has never seen or will ever see such an original star as Mae West. LEGENDARY

  • I'm probably gonna get a whole lot of negative comments on this, but I've seen this clip and the movie 'i'm no angel' and seems as if May West plays the same character and that character isn't very nuanced. I do enjoy her funny character, but it gets kinda old after 30 minuets. I know she was probably revolutionary in sense of liberating women and female sexuality, but here her acting isn't that good. Do any of you know if there's a movie with her that has a more nuanced character?

  • Wish I had her confidence!

  • Did Mae West write her own dialogue? That was amazing.

  • Thank you for posting! Do you have the whole movie? She IS the BEST ever! I loovveee her!!!

  • One of the greatest and most famous debut performances in the history of Hollywood. "Goodness had EVERYTHING to do with it!"

  • @spookyboo22 I LOVE it too!! You're Welocme!! :)

  • Thanks Jennifer, love this movie xxxxxxxx
