This series of videos is meant to highlight the recent progression of my solo electronic music performance circa Summer 2009. In these videos, I loop and mangle original cello melodies, capturing them livand on-the-spot into my laptop using a midi foot controller alongside an audio interface. A knob controller is also used to control effects which continuously morph the sound of the cello and beats. Together these textures and beats create epic, swelling, spur-of-the-moment sonic narratives. Enjoy.
