they aren't screwed in. the silencers are just billet alloy plugs that reduce the outlet size. Jardine supply them as an option but you have to drill a hole in the pipe so that the plugs can be secured in place with a screw. these silencers (plugs) are free floating hence why they are moving.

I'm thinking about getting that exhaust for my 07 1000, same bike, but was wondering if you thought it was "too loud" and whether or not the jardine gp1 is street legal????
