I found this on the net. It's the 1981 trailer for the sci-fi actioner EFNY. Great preview that doesn't reveal much except the concept, the character of Snake and the grim, violent, future that awaits us. This is what made going to the movies so much fun. Enjoy and leave some comments

Ah Assualt on Precinct 13, I loved the original. The remake was somewhat ok. Big Trouble in Little China, The Thing, Halloween, The Fog, Starman, Christine. As a kid I didn't realise how much I had grown up on JC.
Escape from New York and The Thing definitely changed my life... In my opinion, the best Carpenter's movies after these two are Vampires and In The Mouth Of Madness! I didn't love Halloween (too many stereotypes in it) In Assault, there are some good ideas but not fully developed! Oh I forgot THEY LIVE! A Masterpiece!!!
and plus this movie was being filmed all the way back in 79-80, I don't think Carpenter could foresee what would happen 22 years in the future. so even if he set it in say 2003 they would be there. I was three when this came out but I grew up watching cause it was my mom's fav movie and she was ALWAYS watching it. LOL.
I love it when dumbasses accuse this movie of being a rip off or copy of something that came out in the late 90's(98) and early 2000's considering this film was released in...1981! Wow. just wow.
