I've noticed in a lot of the pieces that he plays, he adds harmonics into the music on the 12th fret and sometimes the 7th fret. It decreases the difficulty because he no longer has to apply pressure to the string; rather merely graze it with his finger, however, I think he chooses the timing for these harmonics well. Good balance even though he's changing the composition.

  • dude in the audience needs a RIIIIICCCCOOOOOOLLLLLLLAAAAA asap

  • One of the finest composition written for guitar! Fantastic playing.

  • so what if this is difficult to play!?

sounds like one of those pieces made only for the sake of making something out of the ordinary. trying to impress by being sophisticated.

but when i hear this i fell like i want to kick a midget!!

  • Very, very good.

For people who aren't guitarists, understanding the difficulty of this piece is not easy...

Do you add in a couple of harmonics in the middle (slower) sections or is it just my imagination?

And I think you use rubato sparingly and effectively... your tempo is superb.

I can only hope to play this piece so well in my recital in 12 days!

  • extraordinario! sobresaliente, felicidades!

  • It is quite obvious who rated your comments with the "positive" hand and also it is quite obvious who rated with the "negative" one. Ricardo is a great great guitar player and you can't change this with your hating on him. And this is a unique interpretation. I personally find it very expressive. Sensitive when it has to be sensitive and aggressive when it has to be aggressive. Not to mention the clarity and the dynamic range that he has. 5 stars!
