I think the reason Cane didn't say I love you back was because, when he had that talk with Neil, after Cain and Lily made love. Neil told Cain about the word love was powerful and that it could devastate Lily if Cain said it to her. I think that's why he's reluctant to say what he so obviously feels about Lily.

ITA! I want to punch Cane during this scene. Poor Lily, you can tell she was expecting an I love you back. Just before she leaves the room, she gets this hurt look on her face. I wanted to cry for her. Cane knows he loves her, just say it already.

Actually I wasn't. Devon really did have a crush on Lily, but that was before he met Roxanne. And I think I made a mistake too, I think at this time Devon has met Roxanne. But I will say that Devon has a good heart which is probably the main reason why he supports Lily.

Devon is always supportive with Lily but it's not just because he cares about her, he's in love with her! He hasn't told anyone except Yolonda, his biological mother. He feels that maybe he and Lily can be together since he's her brother only because he's adopted, so techinically they're not related. The problem is, if he tells Lily this, she might be very uncomfortable about it. Neil would too, even more than he was with Daniel. So they might not see things the way Devon does.

I know girl, I hate Chloe for even trying to say Lily is fat, because she isn't. But, I LOVED the Lane scenes! Lily loves her some Cane! And Cane loves her too, he will say it to her real soon.
