I think that other states should follow Rhode Island's example and not peak into the private bedrooms of legal and consenting adults. If 2 legal and consenting adults are alone together and they want to engage in intimate behaviors, they should have the right to do so whether money is involved in it or not. It's not anybody else's business what consenting adults do alone together, and police operations busting such activities violate privacy and waste tax money!!

- When prostitution was re-criminalized in late 2009, yes the governor who signed the bill into law was a Republican, but the legislator who pushed so hard for this was a Democrat. It would be nice to see the new governor Lincoln Chaffee to rescind this ban!

@111cada Well that is why it should be Legalized, but regulated, or decriminalized, and somehow regulated, so police can investigate, but not arrest once determine there is no minors etc involved. I am not saying police should just look away, but maybe issue heath cards, so they can check make sure they have no disease, no underage. its bad those damn prudes won.
