IFRANE Middle Atlas Pearl ... إفران جوهرة الأطلس المتوسّط

Ifrane.. a town and ski resort in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco. It is 1650 meters in altitude and is part of the Meknès-Tafilalet region. In Tamazight, the regional Berber language, "ifran" means Caves.

The city is full of life and enterprising spirit. It is not that far from the famous city of Fez, or Meknes, the city is a gateway to the magnificent waterfalls and a refreshing portal on the famous Ain vital. Here, hikers, athlets, cyclists, anglers and rock climbers have a world of choices for adventure and challenge.

Finally, the song is interpreted by Brahim EL ALAMI. A popular Moroccan singer and composer-songwriter. He is singing "Ma'hla ifrane wma'hla jamalo" which could be translated as "How wonderful is Ifrane! How wonderful is its beauty!".

PS: The pictures were taken in 2005 by a mobile phone.. so, the quality of some pictures is not that good !
