  • Hi would you say that the rugdoctor picks up atleast half of the water it dispenses?

  • @Pianocarneseur12 Hard to say with any accuracy, but carpets I've done generally are damp for no more than a few hours (4 or 5 hrs say) and dry the next day. I would say that doing multiple passes will increase drying times so better to do a cleaning every few days to gradually clean a really dirty area than try to get it at one time. Use half to one third recommended soap generally, and no soap (hot tap water only) occasionally to get a softer feel to rug fibers. Excess moisture isn't a problem

  • Did you buy this X3 at walmart? because they have these on shelf for $398 and i though that was kind of cheap for a RugDoctor.

  • @Pianocarneseur12 Yes I did by from them. Be aware that they do not sell it with the Upholstery Kit or 12ft hose (I didn't need them anyway). They work as well as the 2 Mighty Pro machines I also have. I have redone a few carpets that local services have done with van-based units, and removed stains and dirt they didn't get so I'd recommend them over hiring a service. They can't remove all stains but that is the case with any machine. Buy and return if you don't like the results,

  • the big green machine is better. it cleans up forward AND backward. dries up faster and does not hurt your back. i've tried them both on extremely soiled carpet.

  • @joerwheelervideo Oh ok thanks well i'm sure I can most likely buy the upholstery kit which I definately need around two youngsters haha. That's awesome, I think maybe it's because van units never have any scrubbing it's all spray and suction.

  • it doesnt look good at all .... seriously ... does it work?

  • Can't edit a posting...

sources of info or opinion on them?

  • I'm wondering about buying a rug doctor, and I don't know about the different models. Are there good sources of info or option on them?

  • Nice video. I got the Mighty Pro about 30 days before this model came out. This one does look more ergonomic to use, but I question it's build quality and material vs the Mighty Pro or Wide Track. Either way, it's got the same guts inside, and I like the revised styling of yours. Tough choice LOL.
