Mice with their cells labelled with enhanced Green Fluorescent Protein (eGFP) under a UV blacklight lamp. The green fluorescence can be clearly seen at the tail, feet and back of the ears of the mice. We use these mice as they serve as models for tumor studies. Tumor cells will fluoresce red, differentiating itself from the green host cells.
First day of visit to the Animal House.

  • @jacobbidinger yes. cos usually the immune system of the mouse is also compromised. they won't survive very long

  • innovative. but i'm sorta against that sort-of testing on mice since it compromises their health. i dunno the pros/cons of animal testing for the benefit of medicine and human-kind.
