  • luv d song..

my dad used to sing it to me wen i was small..

    man golden times...

  • When you roam about.. The heavens spring forth from earth...

Even the flowery star that got erased...

Like hands filled with spring blossoms...

It brightens because of your janmapunyam...

You who is like pearls, came in my rainy dreams.

From your tender lips, where shimmers the golden bamboo flute

I hear a moist sreeragam [Raaga Sreeragam, which the song is in]

    Like desires which flourishes,

    Dissolves like jeevamantram

You who is like pearls, came in my rainy dreams.

  • You came as a bead of a bright cloud!!! what a line!!!

  • Malayalam is such a rich langauge that it has all the most beautiful words in the world to express the minutest of emotions, feelings and expressions. This song reflects all these.

  • great !

  • icho malootty so chweeeeeeeeeeet

  • so cute song my fav song luv dis songgggggggggggg

  • @sanpra1989 : Thanks. I don't the know which is the "right" one. That too seams reasonable. My initial thoughts was on the lines of... a child is who continues the mother, her thoughts, her feelings, her life and her genes too, so that way imparting immortality to what the mother stood for and thus for the mother herself. But I could be wrong. :)

  • @nirvana4ol jolly gud..:) but i think, going by the story line, "amrithu" doesn't mean immortality, rather, it means bringing her back to life. coz it's about a mother who lost her child...

  • i love dis song . it describes the mother's love towards her child .really awesome
