  • Dude, I know this is an old post but I can relate how you had to stop and think at the beginning. Transcribing Joe Pass and Barney Kessel licks can do a mind bender on you every now and then. Thanks for this series, it is superb.

  • I'm fairly new to jazz; still working through Davis, Coltrane, Monk, those guys. Are the licks you're doing all from a particular time period or movement of jazz? Are they more modern? Thanks man, great playing.
