So the basic premise is the same as Kung Fu: the pair wander through the Northwest searching for the boy's mother meeting adventures and giving the alien opportunities to demonstrate his powers just as Cain wandered through the West meeting adventures and demonstrating his Eastern philosophy and martial arts skills while looking for his half-brother. With the whole father-and-son/buddy bonding and teachibng element added.

I forgot that they'd filmed part of this at the Seattle Center. I don't live far from there.

i can't believe that i never knew about this show when i was growing up.........i would have been in my mid-teens when this was on tv, and would have loved it.........My favorite movie was STARMAN, with Jeff Bridges. This is awesome. Thanks so much for posting. Beauty......

sometimes shows which appeal to me, unfortunately end too soon
new amsterdam was one such show ..it appealed to me for many reason, but unfortunately it lasted just one season
