@MarcelsBitch This IS the original (or rather, replacement) Red Boots Ballet. The German versions use this orchestrations now. If you listen to Die Roten Stiefel on the Steve Barton Cast Recording you'll hear the original version (I like this one ALOT better personally). It was the only good thing that came out of the BWay production. :P

I'm not talking about the orchestrations which are indeed different from the Vienna 1997 version, and indeed better. I actually meant the realization of the scene. That old woman, then Alfred and Sarah saying they loved each other and even kissing. In addition, the German and (latest) Austrian version contains less dancing couples, but instead two soloists, which I personally like best. And of course no flying person.

@MarcelsBitch Oh! I see. Yeah, I do like the German version better too (mainly because this had unnecessary flying and stupid mirrors), but this is what gave birth to what we see now. I swear this is the only good part of the Broadway show... :P

Thanks so much. I have been looking for a long, long time for this scene! I love 'Braver Than We Ever Are" but I never thought I'd get the chance to see all of this together with the Red Boots Ballet and Say A Prayer all together! Great job :)

@stromerfan oh I found it very interessting and I saw the show in Germany and in Austria, because the Austrian version is a little bit other than the German Version.

from minute 7.16 it is not the original orchestration but the flying sarah is amazing!!

@musiqaltrader Wow, I didn't know that the Red Boots Ballet 2.0 in Tanz actually originated in the Broadway butchering,err I mean, Broadway Production. At least we got ONE thing good (actually, very good) out of it then.

I'm just surprised Crawford didn't demand that he come flying in at the end of the scene, shooting laser beams from his eyes and breathing fire :-P

And I also like the dancing scene. But I like the german version better
