***she was so weak
The Story.....Once upon a time... There was this boy named Caleb who met this girl named Anna. He liked her very much and she LOVED him. One day he decided that life would be much better if he kept her around... forever. Now Anna had loved him for quite some time, but Caleb hadn't realized fully how much he really loved her. But on a cool February Evening on her birthday (holidays are great around here) he told her he really LOVED her too. A few months later, Caleb decided that he wanted to make his proposal to Anna very special. So he spent hours making phone calls, emailing people, and meeting people to surprise her.
Caleb took Anna to historic downtown Franklin for their big fourth of July celebration. He set up a raffle vacation getaway and got his mom's friend, Alescia, to "secretly" buy them and resell them to us. Caleb "bought" one of these raffle tickets for Anna. It was a 6 day Nassau Bahama getaway. Caleb then disappeared to the "restroom" right before they announced the winner of the getaway on the main stage at the event. Of course, Anna has the winning numbers, 6-2-4 (the day they starting dating of course).
She jumps up and screams as the family and friends around her go wild. She runs up stage and shows her "winning ticket" to the announcer. He congratulates her and pulls her into his arm while facing the crowd to read her the details of her winning package. (SIDE NOTE-He asked her if there was anything she would trade this vacation for? You would know, she shouted ENGAGEMENT RING!) At this point, Caleb suddenly (and secretly) reappears backstage without anna's knowledge. At the end of the "vacation details", the announcer leaves anna with a decision. He says, "Now Anna, you can be sunbathing in the Bahamas on this vacation or you can trade it all for THIS--" (as he points behind her-where Caleb is now down on one knee with ring in hand). Caleb tells her of his love for her and asks for her to marry him. She hits the floor, comes up shouting, and says Maybe (HAHA JK she said YES!!). They then danced off the stage together and began the first steps of the rest of their life together. God has been very gracious and good to them. And of course, they lived happily ever after....
Thank you Caleb and Anna for sharing this special moment.
