His daughters were identical twins Wendy and Susannah Mevloin from Prince and the Revolution and the Family fame. His son is the late Jonathan Melvoin who was a touring keyboardist for the Smashing Pumkins before he died of a drug overdose in 1996 at the young age of 34. RIP Mike Melvoin a great musical icon.

Rest in peace, Mike Melvoin. My father went to Dartmouth with him and I always enjoyed hearing the latest about Mr. Melvoin and his WONDERFUL family. His daughters were Wendy & Lisa of Prince & The Revolution and his son was the late keyboard player for Smashing Pumpkins.
A life well lived and a great man.

Mike plays several different versions of this wonderful song, each one unique unto itself, and you will find yourself replaying it in your head later on, very catchy tune, indeed! I never get tired of playing Mikes music. He is a master!!
