  • Available new in Vancouver, BC from $517,900. Visit Yacht Sales West on Granville Island.

  • @YachtSalesWestCanada I've been there. Good people!

  • Bow Thrusters on a sailboat! Electric Winches! Is that even sailing?

  • Sailing is a state of mind and can be enjoyed by many different people on many different boats. Some like to race, some like dinghy sailing, and some like cruising...

Beware the snobby sailor, though. Most have auxiliary engines, pressure water, and 12 volt electricity on their boats... Besides, not everyone wants to sail like the Pardey's. Lin and Larry are impressive, but even though we don't have thrusters or power winches (not even roller furling!) on our boat, we like to be comfortable.

  • is this guys name actually bob bitchin?

  • i call it a furniture boat...

  • lol bob bitchen

  • There of course is a manual back up for everything...

Even if your radar and GPS go out you should know how to dead recon, use a compass, have a paper chart, use any AM radio to RDF (or have an RDF) and if you are really on top of it you would know how to use a Sexton nad have your HO tables etc...

I would say (from your comment) that you need to take a few classes, gain some on the water experience with experienced sailors etc before you venture too far from shore. That is just an observation

  • it must suck if your stuck in the middle of the sea and you can get any eletrical parts to work :) .

  • Beautiful boat! my wife loved the electric winches! Nice sleek interior, would enjoy owning this boat!
