  • hey! thanks for this extensive tutorial.. Is there a reason why you keep the synth oscillators at the higher octaves and play in the lower notes? Is there a difference or is it just preference? thanks again!

  • @MOGREEN54

I prefer to use the MIDI notes in the right octaves for the pitch they play, there's no difference technically, I just prefer to keep the note registers correct.

  • Im working in cubase, I'm having trouble getting the LFO sync rate to actually do anything. It works when sync is off and I change the rate, but when the sync is on and I change the ratio nothing happens. Any help would be great, your videos are awesome.

  • Do you have cubase playing int he background? I think sync won't run unlessthe transport is active as it's used for the syncs timing

  • this is much better than school, real teaching.

  • POS button was added in a later update. You should update your Massive version to 1.3.

  • Dude when you went into "sync" mode how did you get the "POS" button? I dont have it..

  • 6:02 is texas.

  • How old are you? :L

  • i feel like there is something missing from video 5 to this one. it sounds like it already has some LFO even tho u havent covered that yet o.0

  • i dont have a pos button for some reason, anyway you can help?

  • Really really helpful tutorial, except I got this far and messed up my sound and I can't get it back to the "right" sound *goes back to video 1* :P

  • Hey great tutorial, thank you for the upload!

I am having a problem though. I'm working in Logic 9 and I followed this tutorial to this point and when I drag Env 2 into the Filter 1 and apply the cutoff, I can hear my bass note and then I hear a later fade in in the background instead of just a fade into the bass note.

Your bass just fades in without any other noise. I'm wondering what I could possibly be doing wrong. Any help?!
