Furthermore, the comment about the one woman who "should have been arrested on drug charges and that's it" manifests a lot of the biases that are rooted in white feminism. Including but not limited to: belief in the legitimacy of the police state, capitalism, and classism.

While I really enjoyed this video, I have a few problems with it. Namely, it doesn't recognise the very valid apprehension some groups of people feel toward the "feminist" label - Black women, trans people, lesbians, and lower class people have all been historically marginalised by white feminism. It also misses the point that feminism is a method of critical analysis, and treating as an identity issue obscures this.

hi, I'm fifteen and I didn't really know alot about these issues in the world. I think it's really cool how dedicated you are and how you are spreading the word about things that are important to you. i definitely want to learn more about the things that are happening to women, and the ignorance of some people, like the guy that you talked about who made the comment about a woman being raped. I know stuff like that happens at my high school everyday, and I didn't realize how offensive that is
