My first real news/update/spoken word video. For more (or more detailed) information about my Spanish life, see my blog:
http://lazywordz.blogspot.com

In other news, the music is from Arlo Guthrie singing Hobo's Lullaby, the same song from my earlier video.

Funny story. I'm only wearing my dork headphones with attached microphone because that gadget was the only way I could get the audio to come through. Of course, as soon as I finished making the video, I figured out--through a complex investigative process called "tugging on it"--that the attached microphone actually detaches from the headset and plugs right into the microphone jack on the front edge of my laptop. Naturally. I wouldn't have it any other way. (Who knew I had transformer headphones, only masquerading as mild-mannered dork headphones?)

This video took just under two hours to upload to youtube. I almost died. ~.~

  • My friend Alex Samuel Palmer is watching this with me, and he says this is very boring. I am glad I could gain some understanding of the misspelled name you had to deal with on your library card. :( Anywho.... see you! It was good to hear about what you've been up to, playing music with itty bitty chillun's My friend Alex says: the rain in spain stays mainly on Ben's mane. hahahhahhahaa, he's laughing hysterically because he's really out of it. No letters left!!

    Sincerely,

    Gichi Okaadaak.

Por paroli ankau pri virinoj, oni aldonas la -in-. Tial frateco estus nur vira, kaj fratineco nur virina, lau la uzado. Gefrateco plej klare temus pri la du.

  • Sed kiam frateco pensigas vin pri viroj chu vi vere pensas esperante aù laù via denaska lingvo ?

  • Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments, charkitte!

I feel the same way about national health insurance. Life is a right, not a privilege. But in America, we pay taxes more for war than anything else, if you look at the federal budget, %51 of it goes to the Pentagon, the Dept of Defense. It's a shame and a disgrace. But it won't last forever.

If you make it to Spain in the next 7 months or so, you're welcome at my place! :)

Wish I was allowed to go to Cuba. hehe

    <3 Nate

  • Sorry, I accidentally pressed the submit button before I finished my comment.

You are so lucky to be studying in Spain! I love the Spanish culture, too, and have been to Cuba 3x, Dominican Republic and Venezuela. I hope to make it to Spain one day!

All the best with your studies!

  • You are very sweet! We have a national health card plan here in Canada, too! Every country should protect its citizens with a national health care plan. What do people pay taxes for anyway?!!!
