You got some nice miniatures there, i collect skaven myself.

The only problem i have is that they look to *clean* for my taste.

But then again, my skaven are based on rats crawling out of garbage and my plauge monks are like 4week old drowned corpses :P

@Xzoltanable I finally decided to Play as the high elves. In the end I decided that I like archers, cavalry and more magic options over the rats (as cool as they are).

Almost got a decent army together now but I always can switch to the skaven army I have from the island of blood box.

@sirAthrus The Skaven also has some basic slings they can attach to slaves for instances. But it is as my good friend once said to me, don't play a race for what they can do or become, play a race because you like them. I play Skaven myself, purely because I love Skavens. I don't know the rules or anything. Of course I do a bit now, but I chose them before I knew anything about either race. There are pros and cons for any race. But if you like mutated rats, go for it ;)

@sirAthrus the skaven uses magic, they have grey seers, good wizards, but they don't have any cavalry or archers, but they do have guns, like ratling guns and jezzails.

I just got the island of blood box set with the rules etc.

At the moment i bought the high elf codex and started to paint them.

I got bored one day so I built the skaven models and sprayed them codex black and now they just sit on a table looking at me as if to say:

"Why-why....won't man-thing love us"???

I really starting to fee guilty here, so are the skaven a good army to play as?

I play the high elves because I like using magic and archers and cavalry, do the skaven have any of that?
