Respect!: pt 2 Russell Ackaway Tribute Show

The 42nd episode of the "Respect!" show we will be paying our respects to host and creator, Russell Ackaway. (1940-2011)

It will be hosted by his widow Lana Ackaway, LSCW-R along with former show director and friend, Checkerphil.

Lana writes:
My beloved, Russell J. Ackaway, passed away on September 24, 2011 after a tremendous effort and fight against Stage IV Lyposarcoma. He battled for nearly six years. I was with him when he died. Russell will be in one of our favorite places that he loved. Although it's another good-bye, my beloved will live in my heart forever.

Russell J. Ackaway will be remembered by many -- some family, students, former patients, therapists, psychoanalysts, social workers, teachers, artists, TV production crews, teens and young adults who participated in the 41 shows he produced, friends and colleagues. Last, but not least is his loving oncologist, Anna Pavlick, D.O. She has been in close touch with me, with her loving support.
