Paul Simon can write some really amazing songs, almost like Old Man Luedecke.

First of all, let me explain that my southern upbringing didn't make me naturally cultured. With that in mind, understand that I did not, at the time, understand the Canadian way to say Z differed from ours. So my apologies to Mr. Old Man, who just so happens to be one of my personal heroes.

Of course, of all the people I could embarrass myself in front of, it had to be in front of my idol. I would've rather told a fart joke in front of Paul Simon or something.

Oh well, this is amazing and if you haven't heard of Old Man Luedecke yet, you're in for a treat. The Nova Scotian banjoist brings a unique twist to a classic style, and makes it his own.

Filmed in The Greenroom, Nashville.

He's smart.
