In this segment, Prill interviews Barbara Traynor, who after a 40-year career as an administrative assistant, was ready to retire but didn't think she could afford to live without a steady paycheck. Then through a friend she learned that organizations around the world supplement their staffs with volunteers, offering free room and board in exchange for work. Today Barbara spends six months of every year working for free. She's volunteered for organizations in Alaska, Florida, Arkansas, and New Mexico. This year she'll be working at the Russell Cave National Monument in Alabama. To educate others about this lifestyle, she's written a book about her experiences:
