actually the vr4 was mechanically stock in this. the stock boost gauge indicated i was on 15lbs. but when i got a accurate digital boost gauge it was stock

guy in the vr4 needs to turn the boost up and learn how to drive. lightning wouldnt stand a chance then.

for one its already on 15lbs of boost which is max for stock intercoolers, injectors, and tune. and i know how to drive, but ill admit i muffed that last launch. and the lightning will always win cuz hes pushin 408 to the wheels and all i have is a boost controller. the only time i had him was off the launch and over 130

lol i own a 3000gt and yea they are pretty damn fast but if that truck is running low 12's which clearly it is there really isnt anyway that race would of went better for the vr4 they run 12.8''s in the quarter but still impressed that was some good races by two beasty vechicles

First race the vr4 gets a decent launch but nothing to brag about...second race 30mph roll is adavantage f150 3rd race horrible start for the vr4.The vr4 with a good driver from a dig (a real race)owns this f150 9 times out of 10.

i am rebuilding my 99 lightning engine

and i want to put a 6# pulley.

do I have to install a programmer if i want to use a 6# crank pulley.?

i only have cold air intake spark plugs.and the block machined .20 with new pistons.

pls let me know

buckachow you are right. on my lightning i have a 6# and im pushing 518 rwhp and 628 rwtq on stock injectors but i have fuel rails and twin 255 lph pumps and full tune i will be putting vids of mine up soon
